PA Farm Show Complex

Harrisburg, PA

This restoration project is a replication of an existing 44′ long x 8′ high set of decorative relief panels on the PA Farm Show Complex. The North and South elevations have identical panels, but the North side was deteriorated. A 3D laser scan of the South panels was performed, then used a CNC to mill full-scale 3D positives out of high-density urethane foam, from which we created custom rubber molds and cast the new cast stone panels.

Creating a mold that was durable enough to withstand the casting process, but yet flexible enough to replicate the very ornate three dimensional artwork of the existing panels. These 8′ tall panels required over 400 gallons of liquid rubber to complete the molds.
